Virtual Private Server

Virtual Private Servers are often referred to as Virtual Servers, Virtual Dedicated Servers, or VDS.  A virtual private server can be best understood as a halfway point between the small demands of a shared hosting arrangement and the stringent demands of a dedicated server arrangement.  DC74 establishes an isolated environment for a client on a physical server that is shared with a limited number of other clients who desire isolated environments.  This arrangement permits customers the control and performance of a dedicated server with a lower cost than a typical dedicated server solution.
