Physical Virtual Hosting

Clients who utilize a Physical Virtual Hosting (PVH) arrangement are leveraging the exclusivity of one physical machine and dividing it into multiple isolated environments.  A common practice for this approach is when a client wishes to reduce the costs of purchasing multiple servers for their office applications.  A properly structured PVH solution environment permits customers to locate their Exchange (email, contacts, documents, etc), Terminal Services (necessary network maintenance software for administrators), and the company’s software that runs their PDA’s (such as a Blackberry Exchange Server) to be located on one machine.  This greatly reduces the high overhead cost of purchasing multiple physical machines for the same purpose.
