Network Engineer

The Network Engineer will primarily be responsible for supporting Data Center network infrastructure; which is a heterogeneous environment made up of Foundry and Cisco.  This work will include network design, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.  The Network Engineer position will involve working with external customers and vendors.

Minimum Qualifications (required):

• 3+ years working in a hands-on operational environment

• Extensive knowledge in router configuration and operations. (Foundry, Cisco)

• Thorough understanding of Networking and Routing Protocols

• Expertise with VLANs, VPNs, and data encryption.

• Expertise with BGP, OSPF.

• Expertise with Linux, FreeBSD.

• Ability to work flexible hours, have a positive attitude, and possess strong customer service skills.

• Highly motivated, self-sufficient, and able to work well independently.

Additional Experience (preferred):

• Expertise with VoIP networks and QoS principles.

• Expertise with Virtualization Technology, Xen & Vmware.


Compensation: Based upon experience.
