Tech
Centered

Lumos Data Centers (formerly DC74) was formed in 2008 by IT and telecom experts who believed there was a better way to provide data center services. We have become a trusted service provider due to our excellent customer service and world class facilities. We specialize in large bandwidth applications and have the most connectivity options in the Carolinas. All of this has enabled us to gain the trust of companies that require the utmost in performance, security, and compliance. Currently our customers range from startups to Fortune 50 companies.

Built to
Last

Before we built data centers, we couldn’t find the right fit for our customers. We observed that many facilities incurred outages and charged premiums for services and features that we didn’t need. So, we built Lumos Data Centers (formerly DC74)from the ground up to address the needs of companies who are tired of the status quo and want true value from their service providers. Our customers know we will do whatever is necessary to ensure their businesses stay online and at peak performance levels. As a result we have seen consistent growth and are honored to have been named one of the fastest growing companies in the region.

Support

Supporting innovation, technology, and community is an important part of who we are. We hold board positions with the North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA) and the Charlotte Regional Technology Executive Council (CRTEC). We also participate in the Business Innovation and Growth (BIG) Council, IT-oLogy, Ignite Charlotte, and various tech meetup groups. Lumos Data Centers (formerly DC74) advocates for connecting technology leaders, continuing technology education, and regional economic development. We know that residential gigabit internet will have a profound impact on our community and we support community efforts that promote this improved infrastructure.
